I will never ever understand companies and their desire to block me from fixing thing. Yeah that % off on our bills because someone in the house is a healthcare card holder is because of me, and I can answer 29895435834897 questions about the account/computer/date of birth, hell I can even answer the secret question or whatever it is, but because I blanked on the password they can’t help me. That was a waste of 45 minutes this morning trying to work out why my internet won’t work and hasn’t worked for the past seven hours but the little green lights are all lit up, how hard is it to say, “oh we (being Telstra) are a bunch of douche buckets, who have no problems disconnecting things, unless you want them disconnected then we will take forever to do it. And we can’t block numbers of people who are harrassing you because of some act that gives people the right to call whoever they want to call even if they call you 37 times in two days and are annoying you, so your internet problem is blah blah or we can’t help you.” IDK it’s just so annoying because it’s supposed to work but it’s not?
EDIT: Better yet Telstra would it have been so hard to tell me that the entire city of Geelong and the surrounding areas are internetless? Because I’m sure you needed my name, date of birth, phone number, internet password just to be able to tell me those few things. Silly people.
P.S on another note, for my next book review post aka next week or in two weeks or a month idk yet, I am doing five books again, so far I have three. I wonder what else I should do for it.
