SOUNDWAVE

Soundwave was yesterday. It was both fun and tiring sometimes for the same reason, and I have a lot of bad stuff to say about things, and I should probably keep my mouth shut about it but everyone else mentioned something about it as well, so even though I am going to look unprofessional complaining about it, I don't know what else to do. Honestly now.

I was pretty stoked to be working at Soundwave, and getting to listen/see bands for free. WEEEEEE free bands, bands that I would be paid to listen to. Unfortunately I was right near the main two stages, and not a lot of bands that I cared about played on those stages. I did however get a ska double feature, by hearing all of Less Than Jake and Goldfinger. One after the other, pretty sweet hey. Plus one of the LTJ dudes, I don't remember which one because I couldn't really see the stage/hear properly, said he could tell it's early in the day when even the dude down the front in the LTJ shirt has his arms folded.

While I was in the merch tent though, I saw people I wasn't expecting to see. I turned around at one point and Ben was there, and another time I saw Sanna and I guess what she was buying, even though it was totally predictable because I already knew what she was at Soundwave for. Then I saw Lee, Grianne ( I think I spelt that wrong) and some dude who took the above picture for me. Pretty sweet. And a fair few of the guys were pretty decent and nice to talk to, but some were total jackasses, like big jackasses, drunk jackasses.

When I saw Ben though, I got him to go and get me a raffle ticket for the Every Time I Die signing, since I brought my poster along for it and I was hoping to get it signed and a picture. I did ask someone else to do it and that didn't work out, which is okay because i got it in the end, yes yes yes, and they let me go and do it. And it was weird because when I got there because they hardly had anyone at their table, in fact Keith wasn't even there yet and Jordan was yelling at some randoms, telling them to stop being pussys and just ask for a picture if that was what they wanted. It was always weird because the lines for the other two tables were massive and there was hardly anyone around them.

Okay I am going to complain about the other thing later
